We all have different tastes when it comes to our relationships. We want someone like this and like that and it really just depends on what you are looking for. Some people wanted to have someone who has a gorgeous face or someone who is rich or maybe someone who is older. I have read numerous articles that show what women look for in a relationship and most of them wanted to have someone they can depend on, someone who loves them truly and will never leave them. No matter what you chose, always pick someone who loves you genuinely and who truly cares for you. Right now, I will be sharing my personal experience about the good things you get when you have an older boyfriend.
They have more experience.
I can vouch for this. Older people do have more experience when it comes to dating. They have met different types of people and engaged in more relationships than you. Technically, they have been through a lot which means that you can learn from them. My boyfriend is three years older than me and I can say that our romance is balanced. He shares things about his generation and I share things that are trendy now. We exchange ideas that could be beneficial for both of us. I also learn at the same time which is what I want in a relationship.
They are financially stable.
Since my boyfriend is ahead of me for three years, he got a job before me and so he was able to bring me to fancy restaurants and buy me expensive stuff which I’m very thankful for. I am not encouraging him to buy me those things because I always believe that material things are not necessary if what you have between you is true love. Still, if you wanted to be comfortable by the time you marry someone, I suggest you find an older boyfriend.
They know how to get through life.
From creating bank accounts to applying for government identification cards, they can teach you sorts of things. I have no idea about these things at first. When I graduated in college, I thought that I don’t need them or I won’t use them but because of my boyfriend, he taught me the importance if those stuff and even accompanied me to get my cards. It was so complicated and I’m so thankful that he was with me all throughout the process.
They know how to take care of you.
I agree to this since there was a time that I got sick and I don’t know what kind of medication I should take. I didn’t go to the hospital because I was always afraid to go there so I just stayed home and gladly my boyfriend visited me and brought some essential medicine. I would never make it if not for my boyfriend. He knows things that I don’t know and he teaches me things based on his experience. I look up to him and respect him a lot.
