In our generation, more and more people are finding their lovers through online dating sites and I think that this has made their lives easier especially for people who have almost to no time in their hands. However, even with the ease that online dating sites have provided, there are still some people who can't find a lover despite the massive collection of sites the Internet has to offer. Here are the reasons why this is happening.
Your standards might be too high.
One reason why you are not finding a lover is because your standards are too high. You might be looking for someone who is perfect or someone who is like that person you saw from the movies which is why if you meet a normal person who is actually a decent one, you will reject them because they don't conform to your standards which by the way is not realistic. You should not be so ambitious about who you date because you will end up single if you keep it up.
You might think that no one deserves you.
Another reason as to why you can't find a lover is if you think that no one deserves you. You think highly of yourself, you think you are so perfect that no one will be ever worthy to have you. Your presence alone intimidates the people around you and they don't want to approach you because of how you view yourself and how you think that others are not worthy of you. Having this mindset will make you single for the rest of your life. I suggest you take a chance with a guy who is average but a decent one and see how it goes. Find someone who might make you feel special here.
You are nitpicking every little detail.
Nitpicking is one annoying thing you can do that drives away potential suitors and here you are contemplating why you can't find a lover. It is because of you! You shouldn't nitpick every little detail because the person you are talking to will get conscious and nobody wants to be with someone who makes them feel small. Nobody wants to be with someone who takes away their confidence. You should work on your behavior and if you want to find a lover, enjoy the ride, go with the flow instead of obsessing with every little detail they tell you.
You are so hard to please.
There are some people who just don't vibe with some things and it is fine but if you don't vibe with what most people enjoy in general, then you are just hard to please. You can never find a lover if you keep this up because building a relationship starts with finding your common ground, finding what you both are interested in and not having a common ground will be detrimental to your relationship. Maybe you are doing this on purpose, maybe you are testing them to see if they would find other topics for both of you to talk about but trust me, they won't. If they don't vibe with you the first time, they wouldn't bother with you anymore.
